Noor House began as an ancestral residence in Agra’s Taj Ganj, a neighborhood that has lived in the shadow of the Taj Mahal for centuries.
Rather than letting it fade into time, our family chose to restore it into a homestay, a place where heritage is not just preserved but shared. Every courtyard, doorway, and restored piece of furniture carries its own memory. And every room, named after India’s great poets, carries a verse of its own.
Noor House is our way of opening the doors of our home, and our history…to you.
By welcoming you into Noor House, we are sharing a part of our legacy:
Each space is inspired by literature, inviting you to slow down and find beauty in small details.
We believe in lingering, not rushing. Noor House is a home where time moves gently.
Our restoration respects the spirit of the house and supports the local community.
Guests are not customers, they are part of the extended family…cared for as our own.
For us, Noor House is a living, breathing story. We do this because we believe travel should feel personal, intimate, and rooted in culture. We do this because heritage deserves to be lived, not hidden behind glass. And most of all, we do this because every guest who walks through our doors adds a new verse to the Noor House story.
